Augusta Matters

The City Council has been working through a series of city department budget hearings. As it stands now, the proposed budget (including the schools) would result in an increase of 6.63% over the previous budget. Two public hearings on the budget proposal are scheduled for: Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at City Center (for public input on the school board proposed budget) and Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at City Center (for public input on the entire city and school budget).
