Augusta Matters

Starting April 20th, the city’s Public Works Department will begin its street sweeping program. Click here to view the street schedule. It is important to note, this is a tentative schedule and dates can change due to circumstances beyond the city’s control, such as the cold/rainy weather or unplanned events. Please recheck the schedule a week or so before the city is due to be in your area to see if the date has been changed. Public Works also suggests, to help in their cleanup efforts, please sweep the winter sand from your sidewalk and driveways into the street before your area is scheduled to be swept.
